Mansur Brown is a London artist who continues to wow us with his music that combines his one-of-a-kind guitar work with top-notch production. Following singles ‘Serious’ and ‘Kerene’, he drops a new album Heiwa. It’s a seriously rich body of work that moves through jazz, hip-hop, and experimental noise, but sits in its own lane entirely. The last track on the album is ‘Arrival’; a song that mimics the sky opening up as the sun makes its way through cracks in the clouds. A sea of glistening sounds begin the song, the kind that infiltrate your entire nervous system. A spooky effect is created with use of guitar and pedals; reinforcing Mansur’s stamp of originality on the guitar world.
